Be polite - Also, as a general tip, when giving away flyers, always try to be polite. Do not force yourself onto people to take away your flyers. Try to smile and say hello while handing those flyers out. A welcoming and polite flyer distributor will always finish giving away their flyers faster than a grumpy one that just wants to get it done with. This is the human element of flyer distribution that you must not forget. People just feel more comfortable getting a flyer from someone pleasant than someone unpleasant. It is just common sense, so try to practice some of that sense in flier distribution.

Consider any rules - Now, as a safeguard to your campaign, do not forget to ask around about any rules regarding the distribution of promotional materials in the location you are giving your flyers to. Some places like public malls and parks do not appreciate people distributing any kind of things like flyers and littering their places. So to keep yourself on the safe side, ask first so that you don't violate any kind of rules in flyer distribution.

Clean up after yourself - Lastly, do not forget to clean up after yourself in your distribution. It might be tough, but chances are good that some people will just take a glance at your flyer and throw them away. It is only good manners to do this, and you improve your reputation with the managers of the public location as well.

It is not hard to add value to the community. All you need to do is respond and talk about what you're doing. It is as simple as that. Instead of just going up and posting links about your site, post links about who you are.

Tell them how your day is going. When someone posts up a link to a picture of their family, respond to that person. Let them know your opinion. It is as simple as that.

Once you get that conversation going inside of twitter the possibilities are limitless. But, if you never get involved and you never get in that conversation, you're really going to miss out on the true power of twitter.

So, in essence what I'm talking about here is if you want to promote your products on twitter then you need to talk about other things other than your products. I know that might sound like an oxymoron, but it is so true. The more you talk about other things besides your product, the more of your product you will sell.

I've seen it over and over again. The more I talk outside of promotion the more I make on twitter. But if I try to concentrate on promoting on twitter, well it just really does not work out well. So, if you want to effectively promote your products on twitter, then you need to join the conversation and talk about other things other than your products.

The other technique I use is to make talking head videos. The talking head video is simply a video of you from your shoulders up, talking into the camera. I see Flip Video Ultra to do this. The Flip Video Ultra is a super lightweight camera that is very compact and easy to use. You can actually plug it right into your computer and upload videos.

So, you can use these two techniques to easily start promoting products with video marketing. All you need to do is get started. You can think about writing articles all day, but untill you actually do one and get it uploaded to the popular video sharing sites, you will never reap the benifits.

First, you need to start to interact with people. The more you interact with people, the more relationships you will build. The more relationships you build, the more traffic and sales you will get to your websites.

2. Give Valuable Information

Use twitter to give back to the community. Send out helpful tweets and things that will motivate people to do better. Do not use the platform for your own self gain. The more you help people, the more you will get. Is the law of attraction at its best.

3. Be Yourself

People love to connect with unique people. If you are just another person on twitter you will never be recognized. But, if you be yourself you will get recognized. Why do you think that is? Well, you are one-of-a-kind, and if you be yourself you will be unique.

So, those are three tips to help you start building relationships on twitter. It really comes down to interacting and getting to know other people. Joining the conversation is as easy as just saying hi. And more importantly, you want to make sure you respond to other peoples tweets. Let them know you are interested in them, and then they will be interested in you.

3. You Can Market on Twitter

You can market your products and services on Twitter, but you do not want to spam the platform. It is not made for you to just put out links all day long every day. Not only will people not click on your links, but they will unfollow you and you will lose whatever Twitter power you have.

So, it is essential that you find a balance between communicating with people in marketing your products and services. I find that people do appreciate it when you share with them what you do, but they do not like to be spammed.
